PS: The most fantastic thing happened when sending this newsletter out by email. The first reply I got was a robot-reply from a British ISP, which told me that my email had be "blocked for profanity". Their email server does not allow any emails with profanity!
I am stunned. Not only don't I see any notable profanity in this newsletter, but if I did, what is it of their business? E-mail is a private communications medium. If I want to swear, and the recipient wants to listen to me, what business do they have of stopping our communication? These people are apparently "protecting" not only children, but also adults from the facts of life. Lovely.

Letter of the week, from Jameson

Dear DOMAI

I enjoyed the recent letter that was posted by Mike, and found it in particular interesting to me as I'm 21, and I've enjoyed DOMAI for a couple of years. I was introduced to the pleasures of DOMAI by none other then my father.

I look back on it now and realize that back then I didn't really care, I was much more into the quick porn fix. But I went back occasionally with my father's password that I found later. It grew on me, I found myself drawn to the porn sites less and less.

My parents have a very civilized view about these things and I thank them very much for raising me the way that they did. I learned to drink young, I was enjoying wine with my parents by age 12 or 13. And its amazing, I've never gotten drunk in my whole life except for a mishap when I was REALLY young and discovered something I shouldn't. I don't even feel the urge to. College students around me desire all the time to get "smashed," "bombed," "shit-faced." All I can feel is pity because I know its useless to try to dissuade them from this path. And its one of the largest reasons I've been looking forward to graduating.

My few main hopes in my life remain to find a woman that can truly appreciate my appreciation of beauty, that I can appreciate her beauty among other things, and that I will be able to pass on the values that I was given to my future children, and in that way make my own positive impact on the world.
